Vera Playa is a naturist paradise, with one of the largest naturist settlements in the world. The whole "El Playazo” beach, 4 km long, is naturist, even though the part most frequented by naturists starts just before the Vera Natura urbanization and ends shortly after the Hotel Vera Playa Club. Along this stretch of beach you will find all of the naturist urbanizations that continue almost to the main street. On the same section of the beach there is also a large number of characteristic ‘chiringuitos’, which are naturalist as well.

In the map below the naturist zone is marked in green, the Spanish law does not prohibits public nudity, therefore, no purely naturist area exists; the designated area is the part that is normally used by naturists.

However, all along the Almenriense coast, there are many beautiful beaches where you can sunbathe without a swimsuit, such as the beach of Macenas, near Mojacar, or the beaches of Los Muertos and El Mosul, near Cabo de Gata.
